Trauma looks different for everyone, but many people come to therapy because of how their nervous system learned to survive over time. If you’re wondering whether trauma therapy could help, you might recognize yourself in some of the experiences below.
You may benefit from trauma therapy if...
- Your body stays on alert even when you tell yourself you're safe now
- You do what others expect you to do, and put others' needs before your own.
- Shame or guilt shapes your decisions, boundaries, or sense of self.
- You disconnect, numb out, or hide parts of yourself to feel safe
- You have the recurring dreams, keep replaying the same images or story, and for once, you want the ability to think clearly.
- You avoid any reminder of spaces, people, or objects that make you feel uncomfortable
- You find it so hard to say "No" or "stop" because it will change people's perception of you

This all resonates, now what?
Long-Term (multi-instance) trauma causes invisible wounds that keep giving. Together we will identify what is considered traumatic or hurtful, what is considered survival or protective, and what we can change to make your life feel brighter and lighter. Trauma therapy is not a "one-size fits all"; it is confusing enough to understand all treatment options out there and do the work to find a therapist that "fits". To better understand my style and what you are looking for, follow the steps below:
01. Book a Free Consultation
I offer a free 15-minute phone call for you to ask any and all of the questions you may have about getting started. We can spend the time getting to know each other and make sure that you feel comfortable moving forward! You can book a time for your free consultation call directly by clicking here. or by clicking any of the “book” buttons throughout my website!
02. Schedule your individual session!
Our individual session will be an expanded version of our 15 minute call, where I will get to know about what brings you to therapy, ask questions about your background to get a picture of what makes you- YOU. We discuss how your symptoms affect you daily, and navigate a plan to work on them for the future.
03. Begin healing!
If you decide to work with me (Yes, it is YOUR CHOICE), we will work on treatment goals and objectives to get you started on the healing process. I go at your pace- for the most part, and will provide guidance, safety, some laughs, and feedback along the way.
If this resonates with you, feel free to click on the button below!
